Home staging inventory software built around the pull list

Roles for your whole team

One login per job, from the design table to the truck

Designers reserve pieces room by room, so nobody plans a house around a chair that's already staged across town. The warehouse lead loads and checks in. Crew tick off the list on site.

Staging warehouse inventory management

Warehouse vs. staged, at a glance

The dashboard counts what's in the warehouse, reserved, staged and in repair, and the inventory filters by status, category or listing. Replace the staging inventory spreadsheet in an afternoon with CSV import.

Install and de-stage dates on one board

Every project carries its install and de-stage dates. The next six weeks show as a dated agenda, and the dashboard lists every truck going out or coming back in the next 14 days, with late de-stages flagged.

Damage tracking that names the house

Report damaged staging furniture with a photo from a phone. Every report records the listing it came back from, then moves through in repair, repaired or written off, and the piece follows.

Sets and quantities, not just single pieces

Six dining chairs or a dozen throw pillows are one item with a quantity. Reserve four of the six for one house and the other two stay free for the next.

Ask where the gray sofa is. Get an address.

  1. In warehouse

On the shelf at its spot, free for any designer to reserve.

  2. Reserved

On a project's pull list for a room. Nobody else can book the same piece.

  3. Loaded

The warehouse lead or crew ticks it off as it goes on the truck.

  4. Installed

In the house. The item shows the listing address until it comes back.

  5. Checked in

Back at de-stage, marked good, worn or damaged. Damaged or missing opens a damage report.

Home staging inventory list vs. spreadsheet

What the old sheet couldn't tell you

With a spreadsheetThe sheet says the sofa is in bay 3. It's still in a house that sold three weeks ago.

With StagedWhereThe sofa shows the listing address it's staged at, and the dashboard flags every de-stage date that has passed while pieces are still in the house.

With a spreadsheetTwo designers plan Saturday's installs around the same accent chair.

With StagedWhereReserving a piece puts it on one pull list. Nobody else can book it until it's checked back in, and sets show how many are still free.

With a spreadsheetA lamp comes back with a cracked base, and nobody knows which house it was at.

With StagedWhereEvery check-in records the listing and how the piece came back. Damaged or missing opens a damage report with the address already on it.

With a spreadsheetPast a few hundred pieces, the photo links break and rows get copied.

With StagedWhereEach piece has one record with its photo, tag code, quantity and warehouse spot, and you can import the old sheet in an afternoon.

Questions

Questions from stagers

What is home staging inventory software?

It's a record of every piece of furniture and decor a staging company owns and where each one is right now: on a warehouse shelf, reserved for a listing, or staged in a house. StagedWhere adds the project for each listing, its pull list room by room, the install and de-stage dates, and the damage history of each piece.

Can I import my home staging inventory spreadsheet?

Yes. Save your sheet as CSV and import it on the Inventory page. Columns like Name, Tag, Category, Quantity, Location and Condition are matched by their usual names, rows with a tag code you already have are skipped, and you can export your inventory back to CSV at any time.

Is there a home staging inventory list or checklist for each house?

Every project has a pull list grouped by room, and it's the checklist for that house: the crew ticks each line loaded and installed on the way in, then checks it back in at de-stage. Print it for the truck or copy the link for the team.

Does it schedule crews or send invoices?

No. StagedWhere keeps the dates for each install and de-stage and shows what's coming up, but it doesn't book crews, take payments or bill agents. Keep using your calendar and invoicing; this is the warehouse and the pull list.

What happens when a piece comes back damaged?

Check it in as damaged and a damage report opens with the listing it came back from. Move it to repair, mark it repaired, or write it off; a single piece is retired, and one of a set comes off the set's quantity.

What does the crew see on their phone?

Only the projects they're on: the pull list room by room, buttons to mark each piece loaded, installed or checked in, and a form to report damage with a photo. They don't see the full inventory, costs, the team or billing.

How is this different from a generic inventory app?

Generic inventory apps track quantities on shelves. They don't know what a listing is, when a de-stage is due, or which house a damaged lamp came back from, and their free plans stop at about 100 items and one user. StagedWhere is free for 150 pieces, three active projects and one login.
